Yesterday

It was Friday, a day Muslims pray a lot.
I was feeling fragile, away from God, in need to talk to Him.
Asked for help of my Brazuca collegues: Let's pray?
And hands tied together, in a circle, we prayed our prayers.
It was very good.
The feeling of unity among us, our needs of: protection, friendship and Divine presence were all called  at that moment.
Thanks Douglas for leading us into a special state of mind, a special spirit experience.
In our prayer: ourselves and our integrity in a strange country, our homes, Flex, our enemies.

I am still feeling up set for the last misunderstandings and willing to change the wrong ideas about me. But, as my mom said: calm down. The right time will come.
I will wait, since waiting is the "issue" of my life, isn't it?

I hope I can be always the open person I have always been.
Looking for the best in me and in the others.
Positive, stupidily optimistic!
I hope!

Damascus - Syria

Border with Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq and Jordan.
Spent two days interviewing fitness female instructors for Flex.
Six brave ladies are coming to Kuwait, InShallah.
They want to be better and discover new aproachs for their carees.
We will be together for 2 weeks before they start in the clubs.

Syria, is a poor country, under a kind if comunism. The people is trying hard to get in touch with modernity, but obviously they are being blocked since always.
Politics can destroy development.
History is amazing in this part of the world.
They hold the place Caim killed Abel, biblic ancient history!
The top of this mountain is the monument representing the location.
ALso they claim to have fragments of the Noeh Arc!
My God...
Scary isn't it?

Damascus is a chaotic big capital as any other one.
The trafic is amazingly scary. Again I could not cross any street!
I realized I am too civilized to be in places where people is no respected!
Dirty, noise, people staring at me as I was an allien (they noticed?), and very good food.
Souks, many mosques, most all women dress the same: Black poor abaia, white hijab or a long coat and colorful hijab.
Actually, to buy coats there must be a very good idea.
and also clothes to work, since they are discret and elegant.
I will come back, I can say. I hope with more time and more knowledge. The museums must be very interesting.

Free lyrics
(feat. Nigel Kennedy)

And do you still touch her like you do
Kissed all over in the way I kissed with you
Or when you sleep with her do you sometimes think of me
Not if you love her the way that I see
I Had to be free
Had to be free
It's all that I wanted

I wanted to see
Wanted to be
Alone if I needed

I Had to be free
Had to be free
From feelings that haunted

I wanted to see
Wanted to be
Free

And then in the evening light when the birds are free to fall
I watch the two of you in the shadows on the wall
How in the darkness stills some of the choices from my hand
Will I began to understand

I Had to be free
Had to be free
It's all that I wanted

I Wanted to see
Wanted to be
Alone if I needed

I Had to be free
Had to be free
From feelings that haunted

I wanted to see
Wanted to be
Free

I Had to be free
Had to be free
It's all that I wanted

I Wanted to see
Wanted to be
Alone if I needed

I Had to be free
Had to be free
From feelings that haunted

I wanted to see
Wanted to be
Free

Team Work?

Wondering, if one day they will become a Team...
Changes are necessaries.
Locate the right people.
Relocate them if necessary.
Keep the motivation high.

And make them understand, together is so much better...

Enpowerment.

The power comes to my hands, but I react in different way.
The expectations on me are great...
The idea of never desappointing anyway is becoming heavier and heavier...But I keep it as a main rule.
I still insist on Leadership instead of Bossy atittude. And I believe that is the right thing to be done.
And I will do it.

For stuborn people.

How to survive to the desert weather?
Adapting, conecting to the new enviroment, "changing".
People should observe more the plants.
They even change their original color, as we can see in the picture above.
So they survive, there's no death of the species.
People resist too much in old habits, scape from understand the reality, hide themselves under the fragile blanket of knowledge (they understand as knowledge, but it not but ignorance!).
And the anchor of stupidity hold us from evolute.
Imagine a plant insisting in on have the same colors or the same amount of water for its necessities? The death would be certain.
But, smartly, it changes- color, way and time of absorving water, change the shape and size of the leaves and it last.

Humans: observe, admire and COPY the plants.
